The end of another year, and a time for reflection…

I haven’t taken as many photographs as I would have liked in 2018. My time has just been preoccupied with other things. And I haven’t processed as many images as I should. I have many folders of RAW files sitting on my computer awaiting sorting and editing. I need to make the time to go through them.

My new year’s resolutions for 2019 include:

  • Get in shape, become healthier and fitter
  • Stop wasting time on the Internet and doing non-productive things
  • Read all the books that I bought with the intention of ‘reading some day’
  • Clear my backlog of images that need processing
  • Take more photos

On the whole, I remain quite happy with my photography and consider that I’ve taken some reasonable images over the last year or so. Whilst the quantity has gone down, I hope that there is some quality. Of course, that’s in the eye of the beholder.

So, here are just a few of my favourite images from 2018 and 2017, in no particular order. Photos that I’m pleased with for one reason or another. Click on the images to see them larger, and thanks for reading.

Happy New Year.

Some great images Paul. I hope you get around to making more pictures in 2019. I’m sure you will.
