For a long time my favourite genre has been glamour photography, however I have an interest in almost all forms of photography.  I think the only thing I would rule out is weddings.  I have been asked several times to photograph weddings but have always turned them down as I don’t want the pressure of recording someone’s precious day.  Leave it to the wedding professionals.

Anyway, I’m always game for a new photo opportunity; a chance to try something new; or to expand my portfolio, so I grabbed the chance to photograph new model Sam inside an old industrial mill building.

I loved the outfit that Sam was wearing – zebra-striped trousers and a vest top, complete with black trilby hat.  Very funky.  For all the shots I just relied on the natural light coming from the large windows.  In the spirit of keeping things simple, I just stuck with the one lens throughout the shoot – my ‘nifty fifty’ Nikon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens.  I set the ISO to 250 and shot at f/2.8.
